Whether you need to store your firewood in a comfortable spot or simple ease the load when carrying it from shed to home, a log carrier is the perfect tool. Allowing you to easily transport firewood and cut logs, a log carrier works similarly to a handbag in principle, though completely different in purpose and design. With two handles, separated by a relatively flexible and durable surface, you can easily carry a large load of firewood without straining yourself of holding an unsteady load. Since logs are heavy, having leverage while hauling them can really help make the task easier.  Then once you get inside your home, you can place them neatly by the fireplace in your decorative log holder.   These make functional and stylish additions to any den or living area.

What makes a log carrier so much more usable than a trolley or wheelbarrow is its portability. Sure, a trolley can transport logs more easily outside, but it doesn’t give you the ability to walk inside, deposit your logs by the fireplace, and make your carrier part of your firewood rack or storage box. With most log carriers sharing the same design, placing it in your firewood storage rack and using it to collect dust and fallen bark is as easy as laying it on the frame.  Plastic storage boxes also make convient storage bins for logs..especially if you’d rather keep the logs in the garage or by the back door.  Rather than dragging the logs and associated dirt into your home, you’ve got the option to keep the wood nice and dry by using these covered bins.  Once you’re finished transporting firewood, this can be the perfect way to store your firewood while keeping your carpet clean.
Almost all outdoor stores or home and living centers will carry a log carrier, generally with a variety of stock available. The most important factor is almost always strength, with more durable log carriers being the more desirable models. Research online and work out your log carrier’s weight limits and sizes, and ensure that it can easily fit on your firewood rack while carrying the load you need.
