Step #1) Measure And Cut The Rail For The Curtains – First you are going to need to take a measurement on the width of the door where you are going to install your new curtains. You can transfer this measurement onto a piece of wood that will hold the hooks and strands of beads.

Step #2) Measure And Mark The Holes For Your Hooks – Once you have measured and cut the piece of wood that will hold the hooks you are going to need to make a mark in the center of it, and then measure outwards in 1″ intervals so that you have marks for where the hooks are going to be installed.

Step #3) Measure The Height Of The Door Opening – You will then need to take another measurement of the height of the doorway so that you know how long you should be cutting the strands of fishing line that will hold the beads. Once you have the measurement cut the same number of strands as the number of hooks on the board.

Step #4) Begin Attaching The Beads To Your Fishing Line – Once you have the strands of fishing line cut to the proper length you can begin tying them to the hooks and then inserting the beads onto the other end. Tie a knot to complete the strand of beads.

Step #5) Finish Assembling And Hanging The Curtains – Insert the hooks onto the board and then attach it to the doorway using finishing nails.
